2018.04.05

Applications are now being taken for a J-Source/CWA Canada reporting fellowship that will examine gender diversity in journalism circles.

“J-Source wants to undertake an ambitious survey of newsrooms, journalism faculty positions and other journalism workplaces across Canada to find out what strides women, transgender and gender diverse journalists have made. And we are hiring a reporting fellow to help us do it.”

The deadline for applications is April 20.

The fellow will be offered a contract that includes payment of $2,500. CWA Canada is providing financial support for the position. No staff or members of the media union will be involved in any editorial decisions made by the fellow or J-Source editorial staff.

For details of what the fellowship entails and how to apply, take a look at this article on the J-Source website.
