Great turnout for 75th anniversary party in Ottawa
ONG President Lois Kirkup and Treasurer Gord Holder show off the 75th anniversary cakes.
The Ottawa Newspaper Guild (CWA Canada Local 30205) celebrated 75 years of union solidarity on Sunday.
Loads of current and former members came out for an afternoon of food and fun to celebrate and reminisce. CWA Canada President Carmel Smyth also joined in the festivities.
It has been decades of change, and a huge media transformation, but the job of the union stays the same: standing up for each other.
Congrats to Lois Kirkup, Gord Holder, Matt Skube and their team for hosting a fabulous event.
